Mom Wilkins' Famous Jello Cookies
1 1/2 cups margarine Preheat oven to 400. Cream margarine, and blend in egg and sugar. Add vanilla and jello, and blend. Blend in dry ingredients. Optional- chill for 15 minutes. Roll out into smallish round balls, and press with fork or cookie stamp. Bake for 8 minutes. Makes about 60 2" cookies. As I remember, this dough was fun with cookie cutters, too. Pre-chilling the dough is a must if using with cookie cutters. I still make a lime and cherry (green and red) batch of these very unhealthy cookies every December. Christmas just isn't the same without them. |
