Beaded Link Earrings Jewelry Making Tutorial

Although you can make these in metal, it was the fantastic TierraCast beaded links mixed with 8mm coiled rings in copper that inspired me.

The mix of textures - bumpy/beaded, twisted/coiled, and the polished, smooth dome of the earring posts, give these earrings a lovely look! They have the feel of minimalist chainmaille, but with more texture.

These earrings are long and swingy! They measure about 2 7/8" from the top of the post to the bottom of the crystal.

These earrings are easy to make - mostly all you do is open jump rings, and you'll need a tiny bit of wire wrapping to create the (optional) final link at the bottom.

How to Make:

These are so easy! Alternating between the twisted rope coiled ring and the small beaded ring - connect them together using two jump ropes per connection. Connect one twisted rope with a single jump ring to the dome earring post.

OPTIONAL! These earrings are lovely, plain, but I like them a little better with a Swarovski drop at the bottom. I have two variations that keep the sleek look of the linked ring pattern.

Option 1 - Place an 8mm Swarovski faceted round bead on a headpin, top with a TierraCast 5mm Leaf Beadcap, and wire wrap shut onto the bottom twisted coil ring of the earrings.
Option 2 - Place a 4mm Swarovski bicone into a 4mm beaded bead frame, run a headpin through, and wire wrap shut onto the bottom twisted coil ring of the earrings.
