November Sky Bracelet

November Sky Bracelet

This elegant bracelet is made with our new, sterling silver curved tube beads, sparkling Swarovski® crystal, a few velvety Swarovski® pearls, and lots of TierraCast® bali-style beads. This bracelet is an easy project, requiring only basic stringing and wire wrapping to complete. You can review these techniques using the tutorials linked below.

This style bracelet is so much fun to make! And it is a great project for cleaning out your bead box. Just mix and match spacers and beads - you don't need 6" worth - just two of each piece you want to use in order to make a symmetrical project.

On the kit page you'll find a list of all the parts used in this bracelet in case you want to follow this pattern exactly. But this design lends itself to improvisation! Look through your bead box for odds and ends that look good together, and have fun!

Here are a couple of the more important parts used in this example.

How to Make:
  • Make up a few headpin charms.
  • Wire wrap each charm shut.
  • Using a jump ring, attach the headpin charms and any other charm that strikes your fancy to the pewter charm loop (PF91).

Next plan out the middle of the bracelet. The two 40mm tubes add up to a little over 3" in length. Add in your toggle and crimps, and you're up to between 4" and 4.5". That means you need somewhere in the neighborhood of 3" of beads for the middle part of the bracelet.

I'm fond of symmetry, so I made up a 1.5" pattern (shown above) and then just used the mirror image to form the 3" middle part of the bracelet.

Add the 40mm tubes to either side. Add the toggle ring on one side and crimp.

REMEMBER to add in the charm loop before you crimp the toggle bar on.

The colors shown in the bracelet above are Montana and Indian Sapphire crystal, plus cream colored Swarovski® crystal pearls.

Here is an awareness design, made from random pink Swarovski® crystals and pearls in my box, plus a TierraCast® Angel Bead and Awareness Ribbon.
